“The days are getting Gloriously Dark” BIBLE REFERENCE:

“Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.” Revelation 12:1

ENCOURAGING WORD:

At first glance you will look at the Bible verse above and say, “How cam something be gloriously dark? “Well, only those that understand the end times and how close the second coming of Jesus is will know what I mean. See, to those of us that have studied the Bible from front to back for many years now, know how the Bible ends. We also know what has to take place just before the return of Jesus Christ. With all the evil that is permeating throughout our world, it is obvious that we are living in some pretty dark days. All you have to do is turn on the television, “which I would recommend staying away from”, or watch any news media whether it be in the form of newspapers, periodicals, or any social media on the internet, it is full of lying deception and corruption beyond anything that I thought I would ever see in my life time. Yes, it is easy to see that we are living in the days that the Bible speaks of. These events that we are seeing are all events that the Bible tells us would happen just before the second coming of Jesus Christ, just as they were in the days of Noah. Genesis 6:5; tells us, “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.” Nobody can really know just how wicked and evil things were back in the days of Noah, but it is hard to believe that they could have been much more corrupt then what we are seeing today! We read in Genesis 6:13; where we hear God say to Noah, “And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.” Those days were not gloriously dark back in the days of Noah because nobody turned from their sins nor did they heed the warning from Noah that there would be a worldwide flood that would end civilization as they knew it. They were just plain dark. Today, it is different for those of us that have been born-again into the Holy Spirit because all the evil that is happening in our world today has been foretold would happen by the prophets of old. These are all signs that Jesus Christ is coming soon and if that doesn’t bring joy to your life, then you obviously do not believe the Bible as the true and inherent word of God or, you have never been taught the truth of the scriptures.

As you read through the book of Revelation, you navigate through some very terrifying events, but know this, all the events from Revelation chapters 5-19 are what is going to take place on the earth after the rapture of the church, if you are born-again. It will be anything but glorious to those that are unbelievers. It is doom and gloom in every sense of the word. Then we get to Revelation chapter 20 where it speaks of the one thousand year millennium where Jesus Christ Himself. He will rule from Israel from the throne of His father David and during this same time, Satan will be bound for one thousand years. This will be a perfect time when God will restore all things back to the original creation before Adam and Eve sinned. Acts 3:21; tells us “Heaven must receive Him (Jesus) until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.” When Adam and Eve sinned, evil entered the world, but the Bible clearly states that God will restore all things back to their original form. Those that have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will live in a perfect environment for one thousand years. We read these verse in Isaiah 11:6-9 where it says, “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea“. The mainline denominations of today teach that this has already happen in history. I personally challenge anybody to show me when these things took place in the last six thousand years. They cannot do it but yet they still stick with their false doctrine about the end times. They teach that the world will eventually evolve into the perfect utopia and that is when Jesus will return. Unless you are blind, you can see that that is not the case in these days in which we live. Here is what Jesus has to say about this. Matthew 24:22; “And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened." This verse is speaking of the tribulation period. Jesus is saying unless He were to return, no flesh would be saved. Does this sound like Jesus is coming back to a perfect environment created by man? Hardly!

You have a choice, you can look at the world with fear of all that is on the near horizon or you can look for the Blessed Hope and the regathering on the saints to meet the Lord in the air, which is close at hand. We read this in Titus 2:13; “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ;” This is what born-again believers are looking for while the rest of the world is waiting for the arrival of the Antichrist! Luke 21:28 tells us, “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” The things that are in reference here are all the things that we are seeing take place in our world today. We often hear people say, well, these things have always been, what is so different today. A lot of these things have happened throughout the history of the last six thousand years, but never before had they converged together all at one time as they are today. The biggest sign that had to happen before the return of Jesus Christ was when Israel was regathered as a nation back on May 14, 1948. I believe that was the trigger point to the soon return of Jesus Christ. The Bible prophesied that the Nation of Israel would regather just before the second coming of Jesus Christ. This is probably the biggest miracle of our time. Israel, a nation that was dispersed into the rest of the world for two thousand years miraculously came back into existence just as predicted over thousands of years ago, coincidence, I think NOT!

I have to say, I find a lot of comfort in the following verse in John 15:18; where it says, “If the world hates you, you know that it hated me before it hated you.” Scoff and mock if you will, but I will not deny the truth of God’s word to pacify any human being! As a side note, this is what the mega church's are doing today, they are watering down the truth with false teaching of the scriptures of the Bible. They are referred to as seeker sensitive and prosperity teaching. We read this truth in 2 Timothy 4:3 where it reads, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;” Does this seem to fit what I am telling you?

ACTION POINT: It is never my intent to scare anybody, but the truth has to be taught. If you had cancer and didn’t know about it but I did, wouldn’t you expect me to tell you? Well you have a disease lot more dangerous than cancer and I am telling you about it and the good news is that there is a cure. You are “SIN” positive and the cure is Jesus Christ. No vaccine needed, just a conversion of the soul. We read in Romans 10:9; “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” God has made it that easy for us, so why are so many reluctant to believe this truth? Ask yourself that question and see what you give yourself as an answer! There is no excuse that Jesus will accept when you stand before Him and the “White Throne Judgement!” He paid your price, all you have to do is accept it and say thank you Lord! Then live in fellowship with the one who loves you more than you could ever imagine. “Written To the glory of God, Inspired by the Holy Spirit!”
